The East Hampton Arts & Culture Commission (EHACC) recently awarded two community grants of $500 each as part of its annual Community Grant Initiative for 2022-2023. The first grant was awarded to the Joseph N. Goff House Museum to support the annual Joseph N. Goff House Gazebo Concert Series. The concerts for 2023 will begin on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Center School Gazebo in the East Hampton Village and continue each Thursday through Aug. 3. except for Old Home Day week. The EHACC grant money will help pay for musicians and publicity items.

A second grant was awarded to Preschool Teacher Stacey Gibson to benefit her students enrolled in the Smart Start PreK, a grant funded full day preschool at Memorial School. The EHACC grant helped students pay for bus transportation and entrance fees during a recent trip to Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill. The trip included a ride on a big yellow bus, a chance to see actual dinosaur fossils, a tour of the museum,a mini session of dinosaurs/fossils with a program director, lunch and a walk around the nature trails.
