2018 Art Purchase Award

In 2018, EHACC purchased artwork from East Hampton artist Elizabeth Sennet as part of the annual Art Purchase Award initiative. The painting of the iconic Comstock Bridge was selected at the East Hampton Art Association's annual show in June 2018, and is currently hanging in the library of the East Hampton High School located on North Maple Street. The piece is the fourth annual Art Purchase Award given by the EHACC. Previous Art Purchase Awards were presented to the East Hampton Youth & Family Services Department, The Middle Haddam Library and the Town Hall where they can be enjoyed by members of the community. Artwork for this initiative is selected by members of the Town Council and EHACC. Artwork must be created by an East Hampton resident, feature an East Hampton scene, have an East Hampton connection or both. arts@easthamtponct.org for more information.

Pictured are EHACC members Melissa Pionzio, Carol Lane, Elizabeth Sennet, East Hampton High School Principal Frank Ruzzuto, East Hampton Superintendent of Schools Paul Smith and a little friend who joined the photo.
