Grant recipients from 2016

Shelley Collock: The Creative Dance Center

The Creative Dance Center of East Hampton, CT is proud to be celebrating their 35th anniversary this year. A tradition at the CDC, and one that many in the community are familiar with is the annual Christmas Ballet, Santa's Workshop. This is a show that families look forward to seeing every year and they deserve to see breathtaking costumes that go along with the cheerful holiday music. What makes this studio unique is, students are provided with all of the elaborate costumes at no cost. After 35 years, many of the costumes will be replaced or repaired and this grant will allow for that to happen. Every year, all proceeds from Santa's Workshop are donated to the East Hampton Food and Fuel Bank. This past year (2016), CDC raised $900 for the food bank. The goal is to give at least $1,300 in 2017. For more information visitwww.creativedancecenterct.com

Beck White: Pippin the Musical

There will be open auditions and rehearsal during the fall and winter of 2017. The actual performances will be January of 2018. Profits will be donated to charity.
